Wig Wise was founded by Michelle Wilson, a fully trained local hairdresser who saw first-hand how difficult it can be for people experiencing hair loss to find genuine support. Through years of working in hairdressing, Michelle met many clients navigating medical hair loss, thinning hair, alopecia, trichotillomania, and personal hair change. Too often, they felt overwhelmed, rushed, or unsure where to begin. Many were uncomfortable buying online, while others didn’t feel safe or understood in traditional salon settings.

Wig Wise was created to change that experience.

Michelle envisioned a calm, welcoming studio where people could explore hair solutions without pressure or judgement. A place where privacy matters, questions are encouraged, and confidence is rebuilt gently, at a pace that feels right for each individual. Today, Wig Wise is a trusted local space in Coffs Harbour, offering thoughtful guidance, specialist knowledge, and compassionate care. Every visit is shaped by Michelle’s belief that hair solutions should always come with empathy, honesty, and respect.
